HVAC Incentive Program
If you’re considering either a new or replacement heating and cooling system in your home, SWEPCO will help pay for the purchase and installation of high efficiency heat pumps and air conditioning units. These high efficiency units can dramatically increase the comfort level in your home while lowering your SWEPCO bill.
For our Arkansas customers, SWEPCO will pay up to $2,200 per qualifying unit.
For our Louisiana and Texas customers, SWEPCO will pay up to $3,500 for a qualifying unit.

How To Participate
SWEPCO relies on a network of approved contractors to help customers install a high efficiency air conditioning system.
- Step 1. Start by selecting one of our approved contractors in Arkansas, Louisiana or Texas.
- Step 2. Set up an appointment with your selected contractor to get a quote on the recommended high efficiency air conditioning system for your home.
- Step 3. Review your quote. Be sure to agree on a price, warranty and any other concerns you may have before any work begins on your home. The SWEPCO Energy Efficiency Incentive will be included in the quote. If you do not agree with the quote, you do not have to move forward with the work.
- Step 4. The contractor performs the installation. We may contact you for feedback on your program experience and for an inspection to verify the work was performed to our program standards.
